Entries: Open by Saturday, March 19th, 2022 until NOON cst on Thursday, 3/24/22. 

Late entries will incur a $50 charge per athlete.  

2 athletes per gender in the 800m and up  (1 heat of 12 athletes, each event/gender)

4 athletes per gender for other running events (will use all lanes for 200m & 400m)

2 athletes per gender per field event

1 relay per gender. 

Please enter your athletes based on how you expect they will actually perform at this meet, not on lifetime bests or wind-aided performances.

Coaches Meeting: 9:00am in the RCU Room of the Falcon Center, 2nd floor, above the athletic offices

 

Coaches Hospitality: Provided in the RCU Room.

Facility: nearly new 200m Mondo track surface with 8 lanes on the straight and 6 lanes on the oval.  Robbins Plastics Sport Surfaces for all jumping events (spikes may be worn).  UCS/Spirit PV & HJ pits.  Wooden circle for the shot put.

SPIKES: ***Due to the warranty of our surface, only 1/4" Pyramid Spikes will be permitted.  Athletes will not be allowed into the facility with incorrect spikes.  If caught using illegal spikes, they will be disqualified and removed from the facility.

Team Camps: In the Hunter Arena hockey complex

​

Warm ups: All warm-ups will be done in the Hunter Arena hockey complex.  Only the very final event specific warm-ups will be permitted on the track (ie. jump approaches, a block sprint-out)

​

Locker Rooms: Provided for changing and showers. 

​

Parking: Pay3 Lot just south of the Falcon Center

​

Awards: Event Champions will receive a t-shirt and team champions will be given a trophy at the end of the meet

Field Event Protocols: 

***NO running backward on runways to find approaches, please come prepared to compete

• We will have 3 preliminary jumps and throws plus nine athletes advancing to finals for 3 more attempts

• Athletes will have 30 seconds to initiate their attempt after their name has been called...it's on them to pay attention and be ready.

• Finals will begin as soon as order is determined

• With permission from the Head Field Event Judge, attempts may be taken out of order in the preliminaries to allow an athlete to get to another event

• Attempts during finals must be taken in order or scratched

• Athletes may check out of vertical jumps for races and will be able to use their remaining attempts at whatever height the bar is upon their return

• Vertical jumps will be contested 5-Alive until there are less than 10 competitors at a height at which time they will go straight through the order

• The pole vault runway will open at 9:15am for girls warm-ups.

• The pole vault runway will open for 45min for boys warm-ups as soon as the finish competition
